Your hosts, John & Gwawr Denley, offer a warm welcome to all at the Salutation Inn - a 16th Century Coaching Inn near Newport on the A487 midway between Fishguard and Cardigan. The old part of the Inn blends well with the modern and well equipped bedrooms. Enjoy a relaxing drink or a meal in one of the two bars, oak-beamed and full of old country atmosphere.

The Inn overlooks lawned gardens that lead down to the crystal clear bubbling salmon river winding its way through this gorgeous Welsh valley. In the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park the Salutation offers its guests a quiet relaxing haven away from the pressures of life.

The Inn is an ideal base for country leisure activities including bird watching, fishing, and horse riding, and is perfectly situated for walking the Pembrokeshire coastal paths. Special arrangements can be made for Salutation guests at the golf course in Newport - a course which benefits from the most stunning sea views to be found anywhere.
